Copperweld CCS's fully annealed, high-carbon steel core provides resiliency, strength and flexibility. Capable of stretching more than 15%, our wire is designed to endure the rigors of detonator installation while maintaining the integrity of the connection. Copperweld CCS detonation wire is ASTM B-869 (for CCS Drop Wire) and ASTM B-910 (for Annealed CCS) compliant.
Copperweld's CCA surface lead wires and pyro wires offer a lower-resistance alternative that reduces voltage drop from the source feed — especially important on extremely long runs. Our 10% CCA wires are ASTM B-566 complaint.
